Expansion Packs?

When Topaz is done, will we take advantage of the internet and make downloadable expansions for the game? Maybe the expansion could have new pokemon, new areas, or something more? I dont see why we sould be a complete recopy of the handheld games when there could be so much more features.
Of course, this would be after we make the original, and the expansions would be optional.

I like this idea of course getting the game out is really the more important issue to tackle first. Things that could be potential expansions would be past Pokemon inclusions, new in-game events or perhaps a few new Pokemon such as pre-evos and evos to Topaz Pokemon. Still it is quite a bit too early to seriously discuss this.

I was thinking along those lines, but maybe the expansions could provide not just pre evos and evos, but a whole new batch of Pokemon! Also, It could be possible to have new areas such as mini regions added to Caldera and Kirant, i would love to see that!

I have to agree with the sentiments expressed by my one-winged friend here. It's still a bit early to start thinking about this kind of thing when we don't even have a demo completed.

I can see what you're saying. Why would you spend, what, 8 years making a fangame and then redo the whole process to make another when you can just expand off the original.

But don't jump the gun yet. The demo isn't out. This is better to be discussed after it comes out.
